What is Bounce Rate?

The percentage of visitors who leave your site after viewing only one page.

Why It Matters

A high bounce rate may indicate that visitors are not finding what they expected or the page is not engaging.

Real-World Example

A landing page with a 70% bounce rate means 70 out of 100 visitors leave without exploring further.

“Understanding terms like Bounce Rate matters because it helps you have better conversations with developers and make smarter decisions about your software. You do not need to be technical. You just need to know enough to ask the right questions.”
